Why we built Tribe & Tale.
Childhood isn’t built by one person. It takes a village, and most of that village never gets to show up on the page.
Personalized children’s books usually mean one purchaser, one photo, one generic template. We thought a child’s tribe deserved better than that: a book where the uncles and aunts, the listeners, the cooks, the cheerleaders, and the dreamers in a child’s life each get to speak for themselves.
Real people, not a template
Every character in the book is someone who actually loves this child, not a name swapped into a generic story.
A shared gift, not a solo one
The whole tribe adds their own part, so the story is made together, not written for the child by one person alone.
